Every option on this page is a contour memory foam pillow—a molded foam pillow shaped with raised and lowered areas instead of a flat, even top. The three styles differ in shape, size, pillowcase, and how you change the height, so the right choice depends on the profile you prefer.
Each selection includes one pillow and its pillowcase. Because Butterfly, Wave, and Classic each come in a Queen option, choose by the full style, size, and color combination rather than by size alone.

How Each Style Adjusts
Butterfly contour pillow
The Butterfly style has a hollow center surrounded by six contour zones. Rotate the pillow 180 degrees to change its orientation, or remove the bottom insert to lower it. The product images show a high setting of 5.12 in and a low setting of 4.53 in.
Wave contour pillow
The Wave style has a curved top with two fixed edge heights. Turn the pillow around to rest on the edge height you prefer: 4.7 in or 3.6 in on Standard Blue, and 4.9 in or 3.4 in on Queen Blue and Queen White.
Classic contour pillow
The Classic style has a removable piece of memory foam, about 0.8 in thick, at the bottom of the pillow. Taking it out lowers the center of the pillow, which is the area used for back or stomach sleeping. The height of the side sections stays the same.
Choosing by Sleep Position
- Mostly side sleeping: The Classic side sections keep a constant height whether or not the insert is removed. With Wave, turn the pillow to the edge height that feels right; with Butterfly, remove the bottom insert if the pillow feels too high.
- Mostly back or stomach sleeping: The Classic insert is designed for these positions—remove it if the center feels too high.
- Prefer a smaller pillow: Wave Standard Blue (20 x 12 in) and Classic Standard White (21 x 13 x 3.9 in) are the most compact options.
- Prefer a larger pillow: Classic King White measures 26 x 16 x 5 in.
Pillow fit is personal, and a new pillow shape can take a few nights to get used to.
Cooling Pillowcases on Butterfly and Wave
If you want a cooling contour pillow, look at the Butterfly and Wave styles. Butterfly uses a cooling pillowcase made with 3D mesh fabric. Wave pillowcases have mesh sides, and Queen Blue uses a polyethylene-blend outer fabric. How cool a pillowcase feels depends on you, your bedding, and your room.
Care and First Use
- Wave: The pillowcase is removable and machine washable.
- Classic: Unzip the pillowcase and remove the foam core before washing. Machine wash the pillowcase and tumble dry on low. Do not wash the memory foam.
- Butterfly: Follow the care label on the pillowcase.
- New-pillow scent: Memory foam can have a slight smell when first unpacked. Let the Butterfly pillow air out for 48 hours before use; the Classic pillow may also have a scent on arrival.
