What a Tower Fan Can and Cannot Do
This appliance circulates existing room air to create a breeze and can help distribute air that has already been cooled by an air-conditioning system. It does not lower room temperature in the same way as an air conditioner.
It is not an evaporative air cooler or humidifier. No water tank, ice pack, or exhaust hose is required.
Cleaning and Setup
Several models include removable rear grilles or accessible impellers for easier routine dust removal. Cleaning access differs by model. Always unplug the fan before cleaning and follow the instructions included with your fan.
