This is an evaporative air cooler, not a compressor-based air conditioner. It cools by drawing air through water instead of using refrigerant. Evaporative cooling works best in low-to-moderate humidity. In very humid conditions, the cooling and humidifying effect will be less noticeable.

This evaporative air cooler tower fan comes in three tank-capacity groups. Choose your size and model above. The Up to 2 Gal models (39.4"–41" tall, 1.32-gallon tank) suit a bedroom, dorm or home office, with the 39.4" model covering up to 250 sq ft. The 2.1–5.3 Gal models (30.7"–40.6" tall, 5- to 5.3-gallon tank) run longer between refills and suit larger bedrooms and living areas, with the 30.7" model covering up to 550 sq ft. The 6–11 Gal models (33.4"–40.6" tall, 8- to 8.5-gallon tank) are built for whole-room cooling, with the 33.4" model covering up to 800 sq ft. Usage & Care
Fill the tank with water, or add ice packs for stronger cooling. Use the touch panel or remote to select fan speed, mode and oscillation. Empty and clean the tank regularly to keep the evaporative pad and airflow performing well, and let the tank dry before storing the fan at the end of the season.
Limitations
This is an evaporative air cooler, not a refrigerant-based air conditioner. It will not lower room temperature the way a compressor AC does, and its cooling and humidifying effect is strongest in low-to-moderate humidity.
