Kids & Bedroom Furniture

Trufairs' Kids & Bedroom Furniture collection is currently built around two core categories: heavy-duty metal bunk beds and Montessori-inspired floor beds. The bunk bed features a powder-coated steel frame with a built-in ladder and full-length guardrails, available in twin, full, queen, and 3-tier triple configurations…

How to Choose Between a Bunk Bed and a Floor Bed

Trufairs currently offers two very different bed styles for kids' rooms, and the right one depends on the room, the child's age, and how much floor space you have to work with.

      Space-Saving Bunk Beds

The Heavy-Duty Metal Bunk Bed is built for shared rooms, guest rooms, dorm-style spaces, and vacation homes. Its powder-coated steel frame is supported by steel slats, so no box spring is needed, and a built-in ladder plus full-length guardrails make the top bunk easier and safer to access. Weight capacity varies by configuration — from about 250 lb up to 400 lb on the upper bunk and 400 lb to 600 lb on the lower bunk — so check the size table on the product page before ordering. This bunk bed suits kids, teens, and adults within each size's rated capacity.

      Independent-Sleep Floor Beds

The Montessori Floor Bed sits low to the ground on a pine and engineered-wood (MDF) frame with reinforced plywood slats, letting toddlers climb in and out on their own. Fence-style guardrails wrap the sleeping area, and select variants add a small entry door. Trufairs describes it as designed for toddlers and young children transitioning from a crib to a first bed. Weight capacity depends on size and style, ranging from roughly 200 lb to 500 lb.

      Sizing and Mattress Notes

      • Neither bed includes a mattress — both are sold as frames only.
      • The bunk bed's steel slats and the floor bed's wooden slats both eliminate the need for a box spring.
      • On rack-equipped floor bed variants, Trufairs recommends a mattress up to about 6 inches thick; the bunk bed recommends roughly 6 inches on the upper bunk and 8 inches on the lower bunk.
      • Both products require assembly, with tools and instructions included in the box.

      Colors and Configurations

The bunk bed is available in Black, White, Brown, and Silver depending on size (the 3-tier triple layout adds Silver). The floor bed is available in Natural, Espresso, Gray, Pink, and White depending on size, with optional rack and door add-ons.
